Reach Out
If you are struggling mentally or physically; have thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else; or are the victim of a crime - you have options:
Call 911 – simple as it sounds – someone is there to respond and help. You can also go to an emergency room. Confide in a trusted friend, relative or clergy person. You may also reach out anonymously to any of the organizations listed on this page.
How critical is it that I speak with someone? How do I know? See this blog post that details situations which can trigger your need to reach out. It also provides warning signs for you or others who care about someone going through a trying time. I have no affiliation with the writer of this post or any company associated with it or the links within it.
